Here we are!

We are into 7 weeks now as a family and Parker is adjusting so well to our lives! (Or we are adjusting well to his life and routine!) Hard to believe that he has been with us for almost 2 months! We had dinner tonight at our good friends (Rich and Julie) who just moved here this summer from Syracuse,NY! We always enjoy hanging out with them. God has truly blessed us with a content and happy baby boy! He is so good wherever we go!
We are looking forward to taking him to Washington DC in just 3 weeks for Mike's brothers' wedding. I am so thankful for my mother taking the time out to hunt down an outfit for Parker to wear. She found two! Now me "the proud mom" gets to decide which one he'll wear~ once the package arrives from Grandma Clark! THANKS MOM! :)
This will be another exciting week for Parker! We are looking forward to the visit from his Aunt Jolyn, Uncle Eric& cousin Sam, from Calgary, Alberta! http://www.ejbaby.blogspot.com/ We have not been together since the birth of Sam . (I went to visit them 1 year ago in August and it is hard to believe that it has been 1 year already!) It will be great to have them here for a week and a half! I can't wait to really catch up, shop, eat out, take photos and watch Sam interact with his new cousin! We will post many photos once they arrive!
Blessings to you all,
Jenn, Mike & Parker

6 Weeks old and already a model...

Parker is 6 weeks old today! WOW-we are "blinking and he is growing to fast!"
I had my 6 week check up and all is well! My OB had a special gift for Parker, he got his first silver spoon! It was great to go back to the office and finally show off the baby that all these nurses saw me carrying in my belly...! In the last tri-mester it DID feel like I lived there in the end of my pregnancy! I really got connected to many of them (and of course Dr. Pitcher who I can not brag enough about- she is a blessing and cares deeply for her patients! ) It was a pleasure to chat again in these "new shoes!" I told all of them, the company would be missed...and they said...."well, we can tell you how to be back real soon!" I said -"NO THANK YOU! We like Parker and we are very content and getting adjusted to him! We want to enjoy him for a couple of years. I will be very content to see you all in 1 year!" We all laughed! It is great to have an office of care, and love from your OB and nurses! I am very thankful to the Lord for and for my friends, Elese and Melissa Petty, for referring me! It was the best referral yet!
Parker is starting to "coo" and recognize us! It has been precious to start to see his personality come out. We only get a scream from him, if I pull him away to burp while breast-feeding! He knows what he wants and he has a mind of his own (oh boy...he is definitly a "Parker!")
We have a little model in him too! A couple in our church just started a photography business and they came over to do some photos of him! (All free on our behalf!) They have done weddings for a while and now they are ready to expand their business. They asked me if they could use Parker for practice and possibly use him for their website! He was 4 weeks old and very cooperative that day! I got free photos from the couple and I was so grateful for them! They are precious and we will treasure them! Here is the link to see his photos: http://www.ernierussell.com
  • Make sure you widen the web page!
  • You have to look way up at the top for "client events" (click it on).
  • Then click it on Parker Riese (it is actually spelled Parker Reise) and it will open up to his page.
  • ENJOY!
We wish you all a great week! Parker and I are off to the grocery store!
Blessings,
Jenn, Mike and Parker :)
